Description |
---|
Bessar is a young boy who is the only Iraqi in his school. Although he was born in the U.S. he identifies with being an Iraqi, and is learning to talk to his classmates about who he is. He knows enough Arabic to say a few words to prove that he is Iraqi and impresses his classmates. All they know about Iraq is "terrorism" and Bessar shows them that he is just like them, a regular kid. |
