Description |

This is a story of the war through the eyes of a young boy who had never seen an American before. He finds them rude and insensitive to his mother who he tries to protect. He is amused by what they wear and eat. He is highly aware of their guns (he knows what kind they are) as well as the helicopters flying over their home as they make their home roof top a gunnery site. The U.S. soldiers did not ask for permission to enter, but jumped their garden wall and burst into their home. He has a funny connection with a soldier when the soldier noticed his ipod and asked what he was listening to. The soldier was incredulous when he learned they were listening to the same hip hop music. Mohammad lives in California. |
