Poet Carolyn Forch頲eads her poetry live in front of an audience. Forch鬠who taught at San Diego State from 1975-78 and who has worked with Amnesty International and Catholic Archbishop Oscar Romero, relates stories of her experiences in Latin America and South America between poems. Poems read are San Onofre, The Island (for Claribel Alegria), The memory of Elena, The visitor, The colonel, and Return (for Josephine Crum). Rosenbluth's intro says this program also includes an interview with Forch鬠but interview is missing on this recording. Outro song by Holly Near, "El Salvador." Contains sensitive language. |
