Description

Max Morath discusses his discovery of over 100 ragtime piano compositions by middle class white women. Ragtime was the popular musical form in early 20th century United States. Morath plays selections from his Vanguard recording which features the work of nine such women, which Morath himself recorded from the original manuscripts.
